Changgyeonggung Night Banquet for Chuseok 2026 (창경궁 야연)

An evening palace programme for Chuseok (추석, Korea's autumn harvest holiday), based on a royal night banquet from the 1800s. One parent is the guest of the king: they wear court costume and make-up from the Joseon era and join a palace banquet. The family comes too and watches traditional performances. There is a photo for a long life, a family video letter and a taste of royal sweets.

Dates

• 24 September to 4 October 2026, one session a day
• No session on Mondays, when the palace is closed
• The start time is not in the official announcement. Check it when you book.

Tickets

• 50,000 won a ticket, for one parent and up to two family members (three people in total)
• Book on Ticketlink (www.ticketlink.co.kr First come, first served. Sales opened on 8 September at 14:00.
• Each session takes 30 parents and 60 family members.

Free to watch

• Palace visitors without a ticket can watch the performance for free, first come, up to 70 people a session.
• There is also a quiz about respect for parents (hyo, 효) and a wish-writing activity.
