Trade safely

Meet in safe, busy public places (e.g. a subway station exit or café), preferably in daytime.
Inspect the item and confirm details before paying.
Avoid advance payments where possible — pay on pickup.
Waegook does not hold money and does not provide escrow.
Be extra careful with deposits, delivery-only deals, expensive electronics, jobs, housing, and services.
A "Verified" badge or listing check reduces risk but does not guarantee a transaction.
Never share passwords, verification codes, bank login details, or passport/ARC images, and never send large advance payments.
Report scams or suspicious activity immediately.
