No appointment before your expiry date?
This worry comes up all the time: the stay expires on one date, and the earliest HiKorea appointment is after it.
In most cases, if you book your extension appointment on HiKorea before your current stay expires, your stay is treated as allowed until that appointment date. The reservation confirmation is your proof. Keep a copy on your phone.
This is the general practice, but your case can differ. To be sure, call 1345 (about 20 languages) or check HiKorea before your date passes.
Never wait past your date without a booked appointment. Even one day of overstay can mean a fine.
