Daejeon Travel Lounge: daily craft, games and free postcards (대전트래블라운지)

A city-run lounge five minutes' walk from Daejeon Station where you can make something, play a game or just sit down. Everything is walk-in: there is no online booking.

What you can do

• Make your own T-shirt: 10,000 won a person, daily 13:00 to 16:30
• Make a mug: 8,000 to 9,000 won a person, same hours
• Colour a tourist postcard: free, any time
• Board games: free, daily 09:00 to 21:00
• Print a photo: free, one per person
• Culture concert: the last Friday of the month, 19:00 to 20:30, free

Good to know

• Open daily 09:00 to 21:00, closed for the Seollal and Chuseok holidays.
• The T-shirt and mug activities share one cap of 50 people a day, first come first served.
• The city says programmes can end early if the budget runs out.
• No concert line-up has been published for September or October, so ring ahead if that is why you are going: 042-226-8410.
• The activities run on the second floor. The site does not say whether English is spoken.
