Gimcheon Gimbap Festival 2026 (김천김밥축제)

A whole festival for gimbap, the rice rolls sold in every corner shop. Three days, 10:00 to 17:00.

What is on

• Watch gimbap being made on a production line, and join in
• Taste unusual gimbap gathered from around the country
• Make your own roll with the fillings you choose
• A children's area with a sledding slope, an air bounce and a gimbap maze

Good to know

• The Korea Tourism Organization lists entry as free. Food and rides are paid.
• No entry booking or timed entry has been announced.
• Gimcheon City is running shuttle buses from Seoul Station, Jamsil and Sadang, booked in the Kakao T app under the shuttle menu. Fares were not published when we checked.
• The organiser has not yet published the 2026 timetable, stage line-up or site map. It was very crowded last year, so go early.
