Han River Paper Airplane Festival 2026 (한강 종이비행기 축제)

A free paper aeroplane competition and open day beside the Han River, run by Seoul city, on Saturday 10 October, 10:00 to 18:00.

Entering the competition

• Registration opens Saturday 19 September at 10:00, online only, first come until full
• 700 places: 500 for distance throwing in four age groups, 200 for flight time in three age groups
• A Naver login is needed, and the entry links go live at 10:00 on the festival page
• One entry per person. No entry on the day and no late entry.
• Entry is free

Without registering

• Watch the finals
• Join the on-the-day event games, no booking
• Hands-on paper folding activities
• A talk and demonstration by an international champion, plus performances

Good to know

• The detailed timetable had not been published when we checked.
• Yeouinaru Station (Line 5) Exit 3, about 7 minutes on foot. The Hangang bus pier at Yeouido is about 5 minutes away.
