Jeju Yellowtail Festival at Moseulpo Harbour (최남단 방어축제)

Jeju's 26th yellowtail (bangeo) festival at the island's southern tip: fish auctions, tasting and catching yellowtail by hand.

Good to know

• Activities about 10:00 to 16:30 each day. Opening on Thursday 19 November at 17:00; closing ceremony with fireworks on Sunday 22 November, 20:00.
• The culture ministry's listing says entry is free. Catching a yellowtail by hand or cage fishing costs 20,000 won (sign up on site).
• Free tasting events 20 to 22 November, 11:00 to 16:00.
• From Jeju Airport: express bus 151 or 152 to Hamo Sports Park, about 1 hour 15 minutes.
