Run Busan Run: free sunset 5 km by the harbour (달려라부산 선셋런)

A free, no-pressure 5 km run at sunset by Busan's harbour, the main event of the city's running festival. The organiser's motto: no records, no competition, safety first.

Good to know

• Free. 500 places, first come first served.
• Sign up by Wednesday 11 November, 23:30, on Event Us (the link is on the festival's apply page).
• The organiser sends a confirmation text before the day, and the desk checks it. You need a phone that gets Korean text messages.
• The sign-up page says it is for Busan citizens. It does not ask for proof.
• Under 18s sign up with a guardian. Bring a warm layer.
• From noon there is yoga, Zumba, a fitness test and a concert at 17:30 to finish.
