F-5-11 outstanding-ability points estimator
The ministry manual scores outstanding ability on a published points table — mandatory items worth up to 245 points and optional items up to 205. This page walks that exact table and estimates where you stand. Recognition itself always rests with the Minister of Justice.
The three pass tiers (체류 p.459)
- Mandatory 30+ AND combined 50+ — passes regardless of how long you have stayed.
- Mandatory 20–29 AND combined 100+ — passes regardless of stay.
- Mandatory 10–19 AND combined 100+ — passes only after a year in Korea since foreigner registration.
You must score on at least one mandatory item. Livelihood requirements are waived for this category.
