1. Role and Responsibilities

At Avalon Langcon, students develop their English language skills by studying with both Korean English teachers and native English speakers.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare teaching materials ahead of time.

• Teach elementary and middle students basic English skills.

• Actively engage students in the learning process and offer support as needed.

• Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.

• Grade regular homework assignments and daily tests.

• Report students’ performance and give feedback.

2. Candidate Qualifications

All candidates must;

• Native English Speaker

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship

• F-visa holders

• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check

3. Working Conditions

• Student Type: Elementary & Middle

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30 - 9:30 P.M.

• Teacher Training: Provided

• Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided.

• Teaching Staff: 2 Native Teachers

Benefits
• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.

• Severance: upon completion of a one-year contract, severance pay which is equal to one month’s salary is paid to the teacher.

• Vacation: 11 days plus National Korean Holidays (7 days are set by the school, 4 days can be used freely upon discussion with the school)

• Airfare: One-way back home reimbursed upon completion of a year contract
