An experienced English-teaching professional with an F2/4/5/6 visa to join the Organizational Development Team as a full-time Corporate Trainer at Gran Seoul HQ in Seoul. Occasional business trips to the training center in Cheoin-gu, Yongin may be required as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work full-time (8 hours a day, 5 days a week)

• Based in Seoul; travel to the Yongin training center on business trips as needed

• Complete a one-month job training period at the Yongin training center after joining

• Develop courses to suit the needs of the company

• Teach an average of 20 hours per week to a range of proficiency levels and class sizes

• Conduct in-house English proficiency assessments and give evaluative feedback

• Perform other teaching-related administrative duties

Required Skills, Education and Experience

• Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, or South Africa with an F2/F4/F5/F6 visa (we do not sponsor visas)

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

• A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in South Korea

• Currently residing in South Korea

Preferred Qualifications

• CELTA, MA in TESOL / linguistics / education or another relevant field

• Experience with ACTFL OPI/OPIc or other language proficiency tests

• Experience planning and teaching intensive English courses based on researched teaching methodology

• Experience teaching English for a large corporation

• Seoul (1 position): Gran Seoul, 33 Jong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, 03159, South Korea

• Yongin training center (business trips as needed): 29 Deokseongsandan 2-ro 6beon-gil, Idong-eup, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do

Duration of Contract

1 year, renewable
