Faculty Positions ×20, Spring 2027 (English Teaching Required, Christian Applicants Only) — Soongsil University (Seoul)

Soongsil University in Seoul is recruiting 20 tenure-track faculty, one per field, and the fields are listed in English as well as Korean. Being able to lecture in English is a requirement for every field, not only some of them.

■ Read this first
- Soongsil is a Christian foundation, and this round is open only to Christian applicants, shown by a confirmation of faith signed by a pastor. The university provides that form in English and waives the seal requirement for churches outside Korea. If that condition does not fit you, this particular round is closed to you; the other university rounds listed here carry no such requirement.

■ Duties
- Teaching and research across 20 fields including Old Testament, Korean classical literature, German philosophy, neuroscience and stem cells, AI journalism, economics, operations management, human resources, chemical engineering, inorganic materials, electrical, mechanical and industrial engineering, AI computing, software engineering, systems software and electronic engineering.

■ Who can apply
- A doctorate, or one completed by 28 February 2027, with the minimum publication count each field sets out, and the ability to lecture in English. Foreign applicants also submit a passport and residence card. Documents in English are exempt from the notarised translation rule.

■ Terms
- A three-year appointment from 1 March 2027 with a reappointment review. Salary is not published.
