Faculty Posts, 14 Fields (Some Taught Entirely in English) — Pohang (Gyeongbuk)

Handong Global University in Pohang has opened its spring 2027 faculty round, recruiting fourteen posts. This is the university that also runs a standing call saying no Korean is needed, so it is a genuinely international campus rather than one making an exception.

■ The fields
- Artificial intelligence and computer engineering, four posts. US law at its international law school, three posts. Then one each in public law, counselling psychology, film, mechanical engineering, visual design, product design and electrical engineering.

■ What it says about English
- The common additional qualification is being able to teach in English.
- Two fields go further: film asks for the ability to teach film and video production entirely in English, and design states that teaching in English is required.
- The interview stage explicitly assesses global competencies and the ability to teach in English.
- The announcement and the application and recommendation forms are all in English.

■ The US law posts
- Those three ask for a JD, and the announcement says a US attorney licence is preferred. If you trained in American law this is an unusually direct fit.

■ Terms
- No salary figure is published.
