Full-Time Faculty, 26 Fields (English Certificates Accepted Untranslated) — Kookmin University (Seoul)

Kookmin University is recruiting full-time faculty across 26 fields for the first semester of 2027. The detail of each field sits on the university's own faculty recruitment site, linked from the notice.

■ Who can apply
- The field list and the specific requirements for each are published on the recruitment site. You may not apply to more than one of the advertised fields; the university states that doing so cancels your application in every field.
- Unpublished papers and papers accepted but not yet published are not counted, except in the few fields whose detailed requirements say otherwise.

■ What helps a foreign applicant
- The notice states that a certificate in a foreign language other than English is only accepted with a notarised Korean translation. Documents already in English are therefore accepted as they stand, which saves a foreign applicant the translation step.

■ Terms
- Appointment is expected on 1 March 2027.

■ Timetable
- Applications 14 September to 30 September 2026, closing at 11:00 Korean time. Preliminary screening results around 13 October, first-stage results around 20 October, second-stage department interviews from 23 October, second-stage results around 11 November, final interviews during November, and final results at the end of December 2026. The university notes the timetable may change.

■ Documents, for those who pass the first stage
- Degree certificates and transcripts for each degree, certificates of career and employment, copies of any relevant qualifications, two reference letters of one to two pages in free format, and your research output with a summary of your main work.
