The Korea Science Academy of KAIST (KSA) — a high school for science-gifted students affiliated with KAIST, in Busan — is recruiting full-time teachers for its 2026 intake. Teaching is partly in English, and several subjects are open to, or prefer, foreign nationals.
■ Positions (one each, five in total)
- Mathematics — all fields of mathematics
- Physics — all fields of theoretical physics
- Earth Science — oceanography, geology, or atmospheric sciences
- Chemistry — all fields of chemistry or chemistry education
- Biology — all fields of biology or biology education
■ Who can apply
- A PhD, OR a Master's with 5+ years of relevant experience and the ability to teach gifted students.
- Able to lecture in English (a set English teaching load is assigned on appointment).
- For science subjects, able to run laboratory/experiment classes.
- Physics and Chemistry openings are specifically for foreign nationals; Biology gives preference to foreign nationals or those who completed secondary education abroad.
■ Terms
- Full-time position. Appointment date: December 31, 2026.
- Duties beyond lectures include research and thesis supervision, student mentoring and life guidance.
