Governance Affairs Intern, Multilateral Governance (USD 1,600 a Month, French or Spanish an Advantage) — Green Climate Fund (Incheon)

The Green Climate Fund is taking on an intern in the Multilateral Governance Team of its Office of Governance Affairs, in Songdo. The pay is published, and the notice names French and Spanish as an advantage.

■ Duties
- Supporting the fund's response to guidance from the UN climate convention, and coordinating with its thematic bodies, including delegations to the main conferences.
- Supporting engagement with Observers to the fund's Board, including reviewing and updating the Observer guidelines and following up on actions.
- Preparing summaries and analytical material on climate and other global issues.
- Managing relationships with internal and external partners and tracking follow-up actions.
- Helping prepare formal and informal engagements with other climate funds, including the Global Environment Facility, the Adaptation Fund and the Climate Investment Funds.

■ Who can apply
- At least a master's level in a relevant field such as climate policy, environmental law, diplomacy and international relations, environmental economics or public policy. Knowledge of the UN climate convention process is a strong advantage. The notice states that fluency in English is essential, and that knowledge of another United Nations language, in particular French and Spanish, is an advantage. It adds that applications from women and nationals of developing countries are strongly encouraged.

- USD 1,600 a month for six months, starting in November 2026.
