IEM is an established English academy in Seocho with a curriculum designed for advanced English learners. Due to strong demand for more classes, we are looking to train, support, and invest in English teachers that are committed to building a successful career in Korea. Our academy is operated by directors with years of teaching experience who understand the challenges of being an English teacher in Korea. We believe that building a great academy for our students can only be achieved through providing the best working environment for our teachers first.

Job Description

IEM is looking for teachers to

- teach elementary school students (2nd to 5th graders).

- show genuine care to every student.

- maintain a positive attitude in class.

- be a great role model for the students.

Teachers will take on a role as homeroom teachers for their assigned classes in designated grade(s).

Teachers will be asked to teach only one or two grades at most.

We are currently offering 2 positions: 5 or 6 days/week.

Work Hours and Salary

6-Day Position: Mon - Fri, 2:00 ~ 9:45 and Sat, 11:00 ~ 5:45

-Salary: 6 million won to 7 million won

*Severance paid upon successful completion of contract

5-Day Position: Mon - Fri, 2:00 ~ 9:45

-Salary: 4.5 million won

-Four national insurances provided

*Severance paid upon successful completion of contract

Candidate qualifications:

Have 2 or more years of experience teaching elementary school students (2nd-5th)

Have an apostilled CBC and a university diploma ready

Have a clean self-medical health check

Have a plan to stay in Korea for the foreseeable future
