1. Role ad Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Teaching Responsibilities

• Conducting lessons

• Creating in-class/extracurricular activities and games

• Grading tests and evaluating assignments

• Other duties and responsibilities written in the contract

2. Candidate Qualifications

All candidates must;

• Native English Speaker

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship

• F-visa holders

• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check

• Must be physically and mentally healthy.

3. Working Conditions

• Student Type: Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, High, Adult (Mostly Elementary Students)

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Saturday, 9:10 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.*

Teachers are expected to teach Saturday shifts 1 or 2 times a month after 3 months of teaching. *

Overtime (OT) hours are compensated at 200% of the regular hourly rate (double pay), with 6 hours of overtime per month.*

• Lunch Break: 12:00 - 1:30 P.M.

• Teaching Hours: 18 - 30 hours per week

4. Work Responsibilities

• Morning: Teaching thematic English lessons for school camps or tour classes for elementary and middle school camps that are short-term classes or teaching kindergarten classes (Constantly changes).

Certain teachers are in charge of teaching the regular adult morning classes.

Morning classes use a pre-made monthly-themed curriculum.

• Afternoon: Regular kindergarten or elementary school classes with JLS curriculum.

Afternoon regular classes are taught from language education books provided by JLS.

• Curriculum and lesson plan provided. Prep time is provided in the morning.

• Teaching Staff: 6 Native English Teachers & 5 Bilingual Teachers.

School-provided housing is near Indeogwon Station (Line 4).

School provides monthly 600,000 KRW and key money 10m KRW.

The school will sign the real estate contract if the teacher chooses their own housing.
