Key Responsibilities
•
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons based on American curriculum frameworks (including Common Core where applicable)
•
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of middle and high school students
•
Design meaningful assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback
•
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture
•
Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school leadership
•
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives
•
Support or lead extracurricular activities such as clubs, competitions, advisory, or tutoring programs
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (Master’s degree preferred)
•
Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification
•
Previous experience teaching middle or high school students
•
Strong content knowledge and instructional planning skills
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
•
Ability to collaborate effectively within a professional learning community
Preferred Qualities
•
Experience teaching AP, honors, or advanced-level courses (high school positions)
•
Experience in STEM-integrated or project-based learning environments
•
Familiarity with American college preparatory standards
•
International school experience
