📚 About the Position
Dongseo University’s STELLAR Arts Institute invites applications for a full-time foreign faculty position beginning in the Fall Semester of 2026. We are seeking an innovative educator and practitioner with expertise across interdisciplinary creative fields, committed to advancing education and research at the intersection of design, media, technology, and culture.
🎨 Field Areas
Candidates may specialize in one or more of the following:
Digital Technology-Based Creation and Experience – XR/VR/AR, interactive media, generative AI-assisted creation, creative coding, digital fabrication, interface design, and hybrid media environments.
Story and Media Systems – Narrative design, IP development, world-building, film, animation, games, webtoons, performance-based media, franchise strategy, and cultural content research.
Sustainable Systems, Products, and Environment – Circular economy, lifecycle thinking, eco-friendly materials, responsible production, and methodologies for social/environmental value creation.
Spatial, Exhibition, and Experiential Environments – Spatial/environmental design, exhibitions, interactive installations, media façades, responsive spaces, experiential retail, and branded environments.
Brand, Content, and Strategy – Brand strategy, communication design, broadcasting, digital platform content, AI-assisted content development, ESG communication, and cultural strategy.
✅ Qualifications
1. Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, OR equivalent professional/industry expertise.
2. Strong understanding of interdisciplinary creative education across design, media, technology, culture, and creative industries.
3. Willingness to participate in Minerva faculty education and training, adopt discussion-centered and project-based teaching, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.
4. Ability to teach in English and contribute to an international learning environment.
5. Experience in industry-linked projects, creative practice, exhibitions, production, or international collaboration preferred.
6. Must meet requirements under the Educational Officials Act and Higher Education Act, with at least 4 years of combined educational/research experience.
7. Must be under 65 years of age as of September 1, 2026.
8. Applicants who failed a reappointment review within 2 years of the appointment date are not eligible.
9. Commitment to serving God and humanity by cultivating students’ character through Christian principles.

2. Career and employment certificates (with detailed dates, roles, and verification info).
3. Certificate of Health Insurance Qualification.
4. Copy of passport and alien registration card.
5. Research achievements (max. 9 items): Master’s/Ph.D. theses + up to 7 publications (SCIE, SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, or KCI journals) published within the last 4 years.
