Job description:

Through a solid educational infrastructure covering on/offline and publishing, and a systematic instructor management system, we practice a partnership culture in which instructors can maximize their teaching capabilities and grow together.

[Job Duties]
- Teach practical Japanese conversation and business Japanese, mainly for adult students
- Conduct 1:1 individual lessons and small-group classes
- Conduct in-person classes and online (non-face-to-face) classes using tools such as Zoom
- Work beyond classes: new student level tests (including consultations), manage student attendance and study, provide support for developing Pagoda’s own teaching materials, etc.

Requirements:
[Required Qualifications]
- Native speaker using English · Japanese as a native language (Native Speaker)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a 4-year university
- Those who can obtain and reside/work in Korea with a legal employment visa within the Republic of Korea and are able to immigrate

[Preferred Qualifications]
- Those with experience teaching native-conversation classes for foreign students
- Those with 2 or more years of teaching experience, or those who have completed a major/track related to languages or education within a university
- Those who hold TESOL, TEFL, or teaching certificates, or those who have completed related courses
- Those who can actively communicate with students with a bright, positive mindset and provide careful feedback

[Working Conditions and Benefits] - Working hours: adjusted each month according to the class timetable and work schedule agreement, and due to the nature of the work, weekend work every other week may be included - Pay system: there is a minimum pay. Depending on the number of teaching hours you actually handle and overtime work, it is possible for your pay to increase to an amount higher than the base guaranteed amount. - Contract period: contract position or freelancer (can be extended by mutual agreement, and many native-speaking instructors are working long-term) - Other benefits: the company provides intensive support for the entire E-2 employment visa issuance process to help with smooth settlement in Korea. - Workplace: Pagoda Tower, 419 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul (best transportation hub and fully equipped comfortable facilities within walking distance from Exit 10 of Gangnam Station / Exit 8 of Sinnonhyeon Station)
