ABOUT THIS ROLE

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing native English speaker to join our small but growing academy in Bundang.

This isn't a traditional teaching role. No heavy lesson planning, no grading — just real, engaging conversations with motivated adult professionals. Your job is to make English feel natural, comfortable, and worth coming back to.

A little preparation goes a long way. After class, a short recap and a word of encouragement to your student makes all the difference — and it's exactly what keeps them returning.

Our students are sharp. Many work at Korea's top companies — Samsung, Kakao, Naver-level professionals who take their growth seriously. You'll find the conversations genuinely interesting.

Teaching experience isn't the only thing we value. Some of our instructors have come from software development, others from enterprise sales at major companies. That kind of professional background is a real asset here — our students are professionals too, and they connect with people who understand their world. If you've built a career outside the classroom, you're very welcome here.

We're small — 3.5 years in, still building. But we're serious about where we're headed, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us, not just fill a time slot. Part-time to start, but the right person won't stay part-time forever.

F-Visa required · South Korea residents only

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR, NANAENG

NANAENG is led by a director who studied Textile Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She brings a healthy, practical mindset to how the academy is run — and a genuine drive to keep growing alongside the people she works with.

These days her life is mostly work and training. She's focused on building NANAENG into something bigger, and she's looking for a teammate who fits well with us — not just professionally, but personally too.

“I want to change how English is taught in Korea. If that's something you care about too, I'll do everything I can to support you — in the classroom and outside of it.”
