Research Associate, 3 Posts, Economic and Social Policy — Sejong

The Korea Development Institute in Sejong is recruiting three research associates, across its fiscal and social policy department, its economic outlook office, and its public investment management centre.

■ Duties
- Supporting research and report writing, analysing policy issues, supporting macroeconomic and financial forecasting, big data nowcasting, and financial review of public-private partnerships and public investment.

■ Who can apply
- A master's degree held or expected, with the certificate by 28 February 2027. STATA, R or Python is preferred, and for the public investment post a KICPA, AICPA or CFA qualification is preferred.
- There is no nationality restriction anywhere in the announcement, and the institute offers a video interview to applicants living overseas who supply supporting documents.
- English is scored in the assessment, for writing English papers and reports and for understanding and analysing foreign material. Be realistic about Korean too: the process and the application system are Korean only.

- A one-year term. No salary figure is published.
