■ The position
- Field: metallic materials and processes (chemical metallurgy) — all fields of chemical metallurgy, including hydrogen-based steelmaking, aluminium-based metal manufacturing design and analysis, refining and reaction engineering, sustainable metallurgy, electrochemistry, and thermodynamics or reaction kinetics
- 1 opening
- Desired start date: second half of 2026, or 1 March 2027
GIFT is seeking individuals with exceptional capability in education and research who can contribute to world-class excellence in metallic materials and processes.
■ Eligibility
- No grounds for disqualification from appointment as a faculty member at a private school in Korea
- PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Able to deliver lectures in English
■ Deadline
7 August 2026 (Friday), 24:00 Korea time.
■ Documents to submit
1) Curriculum vitae, including lists of publications, patents, technology transfers and contact details for at least three references
2) Statement of teaching and research plans
3) Five representative research achievements — strong papers or significant R&D results
4) Summary of achievements form — download the template from the notice, complete it, and upload it under "Additional Documents"
