The KAIST College of Business (Seoul Campus) is recruiting a tenure-track faculty member, at open rank, in entrepreneurship and strategy. The College is AACSB-accredited, teaches in English, and was in the Financial Times Top 100 Global MBA. It particularly seeks scholars in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology management, and strategic management.
■ Who can apply
- A PhD in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Management or a related field, or in the final stage of the dissertation.
- Evidence of, or strong potential for, high-quality research in leading management journals.
- Able to teach entrepreneurship or strategy at MBA, Master's and PhD levels.
- Associate/Full Professor applicants should show an outstanding record of research and teaching.
■ Terms
- Tenure-track, beginning Spring 2027 or Fall 2027.
- Low teaching load (6 credit hours/year for the first 3 years, then 9), a one-year sabbatical after every 4 years, and strong research support.
- Benefits include faculty housing (free for the first two years, then about one-third of market rent for three years) and start-up research funds that may partly cover relocation.
- A new faculty member is jointly appointed at the College of Business and at a KAIST engineering or science department of their choice.
