Cars off Jamsu Bridge every Sunday until 25 October

Seoul closes Jamsu Bridge to cars on Sundays, and you can walk across the river in the middle of the road.

Date: Every Sunday until 25 October 2026, 14:00 to 22:00
Place: Jamsu Bridge and Banpo Hangang Park, Seoul
Price: Free. Food and craft stalls cost money.
Booking: Not needed to walk on. A few programmes take bookings.
Good for: Families, couples and friends

What you can do there:

• Walk the 1.1 km of closed bridge, from the north end to Dalbit Plaza on the south side
• Eat at the stalls and join the silent headphone dance party
• Look around about 35 handmade craft stalls
• Watch the Banpo rainbow fountain from the bridge

Two Sundays to plan for. On 4 October about 100 food trucks come with an 800 seat eating area, one day only. On 11 October there is light art on the bridge from 19:00 to 22:00.

Times differ by programme, so the whole bridge is not busy from 14:00 to 22:00. Bad weather can stop programmes.

Getting there: Express Bus Terminal Station (Lines 3, 7, 9) or Sinbanpo Station (Line 9). Parking around the park is very busy on Sundays.
