Foreign founders: two OASIS deadlines in October

OASIS is Korea's training programme for foreign founders. Its courses carry points toward the technology start-up visa (D-8-4). Two applications are open now, both run by the Global Startup Immigration Center.

OASIS-2: intellectual property course, in English

• Apply by 11 October, midnight
• Course: 22 to 24 October, 20 hours
• For people who have finished OASIS-1

OASIS-6: startup competition for foreign founders

• Apply by 27 October, 16:00
• Written round in late October, pitches and awards in early December
• Ten teams win prize money. The amounts are not published.

Both are applied for by email: download the forms from the notice and send them to [email protected].

Points help a visa application, but the decision belongs to the immigration office.
