Free autumn flower festival near Seoul, 1 to 11 October

Ilsan Lake Park fills with autumn flowers for eleven days, and walking in is free.

What you can do there:

• Walk the autumn gardens, this year themed "Autumn Palette"
• Ride a flower water bike on the lake, 14,000 won for two people or 21,000 won for three, from 09:00 until sunset
• Buy chrysanthemums and house plants at the growers' market
• Bring a sick house plant to the free plant clinic, where growers look at it for you

There is also a paid talk concert from 9 to 11 October, 20,000 won for a day or 50,000 won for three days, booked through the festival site.

Getting there: Jeongbalsan Station (Line 3), Exit 1 or 2, then about 10 minutes on foot. From the GTX-A, Kintex Station Exit 2, about 20 minutes.
