Free laser art festival on Nodeul Island for 10 nights

Nodeul Island turns into a light and laser show every evening in early October.

Date: Friday 2 October to Sunday 11 October 2026, 18:30 to 22:30 each night
Place: Nodeul Island, 445 Yangnyeong-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
Price: Free
Booking: Not needed to walk around. A few programmes, such as the talks, need a booking on the festival site.

What you can see there, as the organiser describes it:

• Laser art over the water, which the organiser calls the largest waterside laser festival in Korea
• Projection mapping and moving light works
• Sound and light performances by media artists from several countries, indoors and outdoors

Getting there: Nodeul Island sits on the Han River between Yongsan and Noryangjin. The organiser has not published a station or bus guide, so check your map app before you go.

Bad weather can change or cancel a programme. The organiser posts any change on the festival site, so look there on the day if the sky looks bad.

Next step: go after 19:00 on a weekday if you want fewer people, and dress warmly. It is beside the river and it gets cold after dark.
