Two ways to volunteer in Seoul this month

Looking for volunteer work in Seoul? Here are two open now. Many people also want hours on 1365, Korea's volunteering portal, so we say which one gives them.

Culture booths at an international festival (Mapo)
16 to 18 October, 09:00 to 18:00. Help run hands-on booths at a culture-exchange festival in Peace Park, Mapo-gu.

• 1365 hours: the page does not say. Ask when you apply.

Green Plogging at Seoul Forest
Saturdays and Sundays, 17:00 to 18:00, until 25 October. Pick up litter on a one-hour walk through the park.

• Counts as 1 hour on 1365. Register on 1365 first.
• Book on Naver from the expo page, at least 3 days ahead
• Free, with expo goods
