What do I need?
- No document list is printed for the Korean course on the school's site. Ask the centre: monam@shinhan.ac.kr, main line +82-31-870-3563 (the Korean-test notice gives +82-31-870-3822 for the test)
TUITION, APPLICATION FEE AND BANK BALANCE ARE NOT PRINTED anywhere on the school's sites for this course (Korean and English course pages, admissions and graduate sites and the main notice board, checked 30 October 2026).
The visa type and the minimum number of terms are not printed either. The 2027 undergraduate guide speaks of D-4 holders only when it excludes them from the automatic-leave route.

All requirements
- NO GUIDE EXISTS for this course. Everything here comes from one undated page of the main site, which prints no tuition, application fee, bank balance, visa type, minimum number of terms or eligibility rule
- Four terms a year, each 10 weeks and 200 hours: Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day, 09:00 to 13:00 (morning class). Levels 1 to 6 placed by interview and level test; 10 to 15 students a class; reading, listening, speaking and writing together
- 2026 terms and registration deadlines (등록마감): spring 10 March to 20 May (10 February); summer 9 June to 14 August (12 May); fall 8 September to 20 November (11 August); winter 8 December 2026 to 19 February 2027 (10 November)
- 2027 terms: spring 9 March to 19 May (10 February); summer 8 June to 13 August (11 May); fall 7 September to 19 November (10 August); winter 7 December 2027 to 18 February 2028 (9 November). Opening dates are not printed
- The page lists counselling, culture programmes, "scholarships for top grades" (성적 우수자 장학금) and "a new dormitory" (새 기숙사 제공) with no amounts or rules. Ask the centre about both
- The dormitory office's 2026 second-semester notices recruit degree students (Carmel 1: "대학생(대학원생 포함)") and do not name Korean-course students, so their prices are not shown here
- Level 3 here after 6 months or more meets the Korean rule for a Shinhan bachelor's (2027 guide); level 4 after 1 year or more meets the graduate rule. Four terms (1 year) here earn the 50%-of-tuition graduate scholarship line
- The centre also runs the school's own Korean test (한국어능력자체시험) used for degree entry: for Spring 2027 four sittings from 16 October to 9 December 2026, 50,000 won, registered at exam.shinhan.ac.kr (notice of 2026-10-14)
- The English course page (undated) is older: it prints 2019 and 2020 terms and a 13:30 to 17:30 afternoon class for level 1. The Korean page with 2026 and 2027 dates is used here
- A separate online Korean course (okay.shinhan.ac.kr, levels 1 to 3, 600,000 won for 12 weeks) is for applicants abroad and is not this in-person course
