Daegu entry scholarship for international students
Daegu takes tuition off by your Korean score when you arrive: TOPIK 3 covers your whole first semester, TOPIK 6 your first eight. English-track students are rewarded for IELTS or TOEFL.

Who can apply
- Freshmen and transfer students admitted through the international special admission
- Not for Korean nationals or graduates of Korean high schools
- To keep a multi-semester award you take at least 12 credits each semester and hold a GPA of 3.50 with no failing grade
- Sejong Institute or Social Integration Program level 3 counts as TOPIK 3, level 4 as TOPIK 4
- Native English speakers on the English track receive the IELTS 5.5 level
- Daegu's English scholarship page still says every international student gets 40%. Its fall 2026 admission guide, used here, is newer and sets the award by your score
