Daejeon University scholarships for international undergraduates (grade, TOPIK and living support)
First semester: 30%, 35% or 40% off tuition by your previous school's grades; a TOPIK cut of 10%, 20% or 30% of tuition for TOPIK 3, 4, or 5 to 6 (the guide does not say if both add up). From semester two: 25% to 45% of tuition by GPA, living support of 5% to 15% of tuition, and 300,000 to 500,000 won a semester for TOPIK 4 to 6.

Who can apply
- New international freshmen and transfers (Spring 2027 guide, the newest). The first-semester award uses your previous school's average turned into a percentage score
- The guide prints the grade award and the TOPIK cut in one first-semester table; it does not say whether both are given together. Ask the office
- From semester 2 every award follows the previous semester's GPA. The living allowance is paid only to students who paid 100% of tuition
- Campus work pays 7,500 won an hour, up to 15 hours a week (work scholarship). The office also recommends students for outside scholarships such as the Daejeon city award
- The intro pages (undated, Fall 2026 basis) still show the older rates (25% to 35% in the first semester, TOPIK 300,000 to 500,000 won); the Spring 2027 guide is newer
