GNU Future Global Leaders Program (FGLP) scholarship for international master's students
GNU's own 2-year scholarship for international master's (or integrated master's and PhD) students in 24 listed departments: full tuition each semester, monthly living money from a development fund, and department living support. About 12,000,000 won a year in the Korean guide. The 2026 call was for Fall 2026 entry only (closed 27 March 2026), not Spring 2027; the 2027 call is not posted.

Who can apply
- Fall 2026 call (Korean guide of 12 March 2026): master's or integrated entrants in 24 listed departments; you and both parents foreign nationals; a bachelor's held or due by 31 August 2026
- Grades: CGPA 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or 3.23/5.0, or 80% or top 20%
- Language (scores from 1 September 2024): TOPIK 3 or King Sejong intermediate 2; English-track departments: TOEFL PBT 530, CBT 197 or iBT 71 (old scale, as printed), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 (new TEPS 327)
- Departments (2026 list): Ethics Education, Science Education, Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, GreenBio Science, Smart Farm, Pharmacy, Convergence Medical Science, Horticultural Science,
- Applied Life Science, Forest Products, Chemistry, Maritime Police, AI Convergence, Mechanical System, Mechanical and Aerospace, Nano Materials, Mechatronics, Energy System,
- Electrical and Electronic, Seafood Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Veterinary Medicine
- FGLP chooses scholars only: winners still apply through the graduate admission for that intake. No leave of absence for 2 years. Ethics Education is not recruiting in Spring 2027
