If you are a direct descendant of someone who served in the Korean War for one of the sixteen countries on Jeonbuk's list, Jeonbuk waives all your tuition in your first semester.

Who can apply
- A direct descendant of a veteran of one of the sixteen countries that fought in or supported the Korean War between 1950 and 1953
- The countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Netherlands, Colombia, Greece, New Zealand, Ethiopia, Belgium, France, South Africa, Luxembourg
- Proof of the veteran's service from your country's ministry of defence, veterans affairs office or veterans association
- A family relationship certificate showing the direct descent, translated into Korean or English, or notarised
- From your second semester you must keep a GPA of 2.75 over 15 credits
- New students receive a full waiver of Tuition Fee 1 and Tuition Fee 2 for the first semester.
