Kangwon scholarships for international undergraduates
Kangwon waives Tuition Fee 1 and half or all of Tuition Fee 2 in your first semester with TOPIK 4 or 5, and keeps waiving fees each semester for the top 30% of international students by grades.

Who can apply
- New awards: new or transfer undergraduates who qualify for admission, based on documents submitted before term
- The language institute award needs 6 months or more there with 80% attendance every semester; double majors are excluded
- Grade awards: 12 credits and GPA 2.5 last semester, plus TOPIK 4 (English track: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 79), ranked among international students
- No doubling up. Awards are strictly within budget, so the lowest GPAs can miss out even when eligible
