- New international students of the General Graduate School who send the scholarship form and publication pledge with the application
- Kept with a GPA of 3.2 out of 4.3, no leave of absence, no TA or RA post, and one paper in a KCI or SCIE journal before the thesis review
- Global campus renewals are reviewed each semester on the adviser's recommendation
