Mokpo National University international graduate new-student scholarship
New international graduate students with TOPIK 3 or King Sejong intermediate 1 (or, in English-track units, TOEFL iBT 3.5, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, NEW TEPS 202 or an equal score) get tuition II (수업료Ⅱ) as their award for the first semester. Tuition I and the entrance fee are still paid. Later: half awards on recommendation and up to full tuition with GPA 3.0 and TOPIK 4.

Who can apply
- New master's, PhD and integrated students holding TOPIK 3 or higher, or who finished King Sejong intermediate 1 (Spring 2027 guide)
- English-track units: TOEFL iBT 3.5 or higher (59 for tests up to 20 January 2026); IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, NEW TEPS 202 or an equal score (TOEIC and others) also count
- Other Korean tests do not count ("TOPIK, 세종학당 성적 외 기타 한국어능력시험은 장학 지급 기준에서 불인정"). Students who acquired Korean nationality are excluded
- Enrolled students, chosen each semester: half of tuition I or tuition II on the department head's recommendation (grades and finances); up to full tuition for GPA 3.0 and TOPIK 4, within a project budget
