POSTECH international undergraduate scholarship
Every international student POSTECH admits gets full tuition for up to eight semesters, 500,000 won a month all year, a flight reimbursed up to 2,500,000 won, and 11,000,000 won after three semesters to spend on their own development.

POSTECH publishes the whole year: tuition, health insurance, a double room in the Residential College, a phone and three cafeteria meals a day. Housing outside the semester is not counted here, although the living allowance is paid through vacations.

Who can apply
- You are admitted to POSTECH as an international undergraduate. Every admitted student gets the tuition waiver
- You keep a grade average of 3.0 out of 4.3 to renew it each semester
- The airfare reimbursement is for students who have not lived in Korea in the six months before the first semester starts
- The Pathfinder Voucher arrives after three semesters
- POSTECH says eligibility and conditions can change with university policy and periodic review

What do I need?
- The application, filed on the government StudyinKorea portal Portal
- A personal statement, uploaded during the application window
- A letter of recommendation, emailed to POSTECH by the recommender on POSTECH's own form
- High school transcripts and your graduation certificate, or proof you will graduate by February 2027
- Apostille or Korean consular authentication on those, arriving by post no later than 8 December
- The forms POSTECH publishes: academic history record, supplementary materials list, letter of consent, explanatory statement
Legalised documents are not needed to apply. They are needed to keep a preliminary admission, and POSTECH says an offer can be revoked if they do not arrive in full by 8 December.
Applying and being admitted are two different portals: the application is on StudyinKorea, the results are on POSTECH's own site.
The scholarship certificate POSTECH issues can stand in for proof of funds when you apply for the D-2 visa.
The application fee is not refunded and cannot be waived, and once paid the application cannot be withdrawn.
