Who can apply
- You and both of your parents do not hold Korean nationality
- All your education, from primary school up to the degree you apply with, was outside Korea. A degree from a Korean university, even a dual degree, rules you out. Short exchange study in Korea is fine
- You applied to SNU and were accepted
- You applied to a college or school taking part in GSFS that semester
- Nationalities that are not on the guide's list of advanced economies get priority, see the guide. The list of colleges and schools taking part changes every semester and is in the same guide
- 22 places in Spring 2027, spread over 15 colleges and graduate schools
- These details come from SNU's Spring 2027 guide. SNU says the dates can change
- Recipients generally cannot take a leave of absence. If you must, talk to the Office of Global Affairs and your college first
- You are applying for a master's or doctoral program.
