SNU President Fellowship (SPF)
For a teacher at a major university in a developing country who does not have a doctorate yet. Full tuition for up to six semesters, 2,000,000 won a month for three years or 1,500,000 won a month for four years, a return flight, health insurance and childcare support.

Who can apply
- You teach at a major university in a developing country
- You do not hold a doctorate yet
- You are newly admitted to SNU as a doctoral student
- Priority goes to university teachers from Asia, Africa and South America
- SNU's Spring 2027 plan does not give the number of places
- These details come from SNU's Spring 2027 guidelines. SNU says the selection steps can change
- You hold a master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in a developing country. Someone about to finish a master's also counts if they have taught or done research at the university for at least six months

What do I need?
- SPF application form, with a study plan
- Certificate of employment as teaching staff: university name and address, department, job title and start date, and confirmation you can keep your post when you return
- Transcripts and graduation certificates for your bachelor's and master's degrees
- Recommendation letter from the dean, head of department or president of your university
- Optional: a video link about your achievements and plans (may earn extra points)
Send PDF copies and paper originals by post to the Office of Global Affairs. For Spring 2027 they had to arrive by 31 July 2026.
