Religious or social welfare work in Korea, sent or invited by an organisation.

Who it is for

• Posted to your organisation's Korean branch Sent by an overseas religious or social welfare organisation to the branch it has registered in Korea.
• Sent to a related Korean religious body Sent by an overseas religious or social welfare organisation to carry out religious activity at an associated body in Korea.
• Mission or social welfare work through your organisation's institutions Invited by a medical, educational or relief body run by your own religious organisation, for missionary or social welfare work, and supported by your organisation rather than salaried by the...
• Monastic life, training or religious study Recommended by a Korean religious body to live, train or study within it.
• Social welfare work only Invited by a Korean religious or social welfare body to work solely on social welfare activity. The manual is specific that this route covers social welfare and nothing beyond it.

What the check asks

The check asks 6 questions, for example: Where are you applying from, Who is sending or inviting you, Will the institution you serve pay you a salary, How long do you expect to stay. Your answers are never stored.

Documents a result can list

The result lists the documents for your route. Depending on your answers, they include:

• Application form, passport, a standard photo and the fee
• Copy of the organisation's establishment permit
• Documents showing your organisation will support your living costs
• Application form (No. 34), passport, one standard photo, and the fee
• Dispatch order from the sending religious organization
• The organization's establishment permit
• The organization's business registration or unique-number certificate (copy)
• Application form (No. 34), passport and residence card, and the fee
• Employment certificate, or a dispatch order from the sending organization
• Proof of where you live
