H-1 eligibility check

Travel in Korea with short-term work to cover your costs, for nationals of countries that have a working-holiday agreement with Korea.

Who it is for

• Working holiday under your country's agreement Issued at the Korean mission for your country under its agreement or memorandum: there is no certificate-of-eligibility path.

What the check asks

The check asks 14 questions, for example: Which working-holiday agreement would you apply under, Are you a citizen (national) of that country, Which describes your Hong Kong status, How much validity does your passport have left. Your answers are never stored.

Documents a result can list

The result lists the documents for your route. Depending on your answers, they include:

• Visa application form, a photo and your passport
• Return ticket (a deposit of its value is accepted instead)
• Mission interview or written declaration on criminal history
