Description
A small, independent English academy (non-franchise) in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join its team in February 2027. This position offers a weekday schedule, accommodation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Position Details
Location: Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
Starting Date: February 2027
School Type: Independent English Academy (Non-Franchise)
Teaching Levels: Kindergarten and Elementary School
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Monthly Salary: 2.5 - 3.5 million KRW

Housing provided, with a housing allowance negotiable as an alternative
11 days of paid vacation, plus Korean national holidays

Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Apostilled degree certificate
Apostilled national criminal background check
Must qualify for an E-2 visa to teach in South Korea, or already hold a valid F-series visa that permits employment
F-series visa holders must be eligible to register with the local education office, where required
