Full-Time Faculty, 30 Posts (Online Lecture and Interview for Applicants Living Abroad) — Cheongju (Chungbuk)

Chungbuk National University in Cheongju is recruiting thirty faculty in its ninety-first round: twenty-five in priority fields and five in second-priority fields.

■ Why this one is genuinely reachable from abroad
- The notice states that for applicants living overseas, the open lecture and the interview will be held remotely over Zoom. Very few Korean faculty rounds say this in writing, and it removes the single biggest practical barrier to applying from another country.

■ What it asks on language
- Someone able to lecture in English. From the second semester after appointment you would be expected to open at least one English-taught course each semester, and the notice says this will be written into the employment contract. Medicine is exempt.
- Two fields go further: the international studies computer field accepts English or Chinese teaching, and environmental engineering requires English teaching across all its areas.

■ What we checked
- We searched the full announcement PDF: there is no Korean nationality requirement and no veterans' preference clause.
- One limitation to know: two nursing fields, gerontological nursing and nursing informatics, are restricted to women faculty. The other twenty-eight are not.

■ Terms
- No salary figure is published.

■ How to apply
- Preliminary document submission runs from 10:00 on 12 October to 17:00 on 19 October 2026. Those who pass go to a main review in early November.
