Full-Time Faculty, Aviation and AI (English-Taught Posts, Overseas Teaching Experience Valued) — Korea Aerospace University (Goyang)

Korea Aerospace University in Goyang is recruiting full-time faculty for March 2027, on both its tenure track and its non-tenure tracks. Several of the posts are explicitly for someone who can teach in English.

■ The posts that ask for English teaching
- Business, accounting and tax: the requirements list someone able to lecture in English.
- Business, logistics and SCM: the same requirement, alongside a doctorate in SCM, logistics management, business or industrial engineering.
- School of International Studies, aviation management, on the education-focused non-tenure track: the requirements ask for experience teaching aviation management subjects in English, and say experience teaching at an overseas university is preferred.

■ Other fields open
- Tenure track: aerospace and mechanical engineering, covering unmanned aircraft, flight control, advanced production systems, mechanical dynamics and satellites; materials engineering for AI-based materials design and processing; the AI college, covering semiconductor devices or processes, all areas of artificial intelligence, computer security, AI systems engineering, parallel and accelerated computing, AI convergence systems and next-generation communications; aviation management, covering flight operations, air traffic, and entrepreneurship; and mathematics (algebra).
- Non-tenure track: electronics and ICT, and air traffic control.

■ Who can apply
- A doctorate for most fields, with a master's accepted for flight operations and air traffic control, which also require professional licences and around ten years of experience. The notice states that certificates in a foreign language other than English must be submitted with a signed translation, so English documents are accepted as they stand.

■ Terms
- Appointment from 1 March 2027, on a two-year contract, with reappointment decided on an assessment of teaching, research and industry collaboration. Pay follows the university's own salary regulations and no figure is published.
- Selection runs in three stages: a document screening, a subject-fit and research review followed by a presentation assessed by the college, and a final interview.
