InnoCORE Fellow, AI for Bioinformatics and Drug Discovery (₩90M a Year, E-3 Visa Route) — GIST (Gwangju)

The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology is recruiting one InnoCORE Fellow for the Data Mining and Computational Biology Laboratory in its School of AI. The pay is published in the notice, and the notice sets out the visa route for foreign applicants.

■ Duties
- AI for bioinformatics: single-cell RNA sequencing, single-cell ATAC sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and multi-omics integration.
- Drug AI: generative models for small molecules and peptides.

■ Who can apply
- Within five years of receiving your PhD, in AI, bioinformatics or computer science. Those due to graduate may apply if they can supply a certificate showing the degree is expected. There is no age or gender restriction. The notice states that foreign applicants must meet the requirements for an E-3 research visa, and gives preference to people who took their PhD overseas, did a postdoc at a strong overseas institution, or have been working at an overseas institution recently.

- A fixed-term post paying 90,000,000 won a year, paid under the InnoCORE programme rules, working five days a week, 40 hours. The contract runs from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027.
