Postdoctoral Research Associate, Theoretical Cosmology (Announcement in English) — IBS (Daejeon)

The Institute for Basic Science is recruiting one postdoctoral research associate in theoretical cosmology, in the Particle Theory and Cosmology Group at its Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe. The notice is published in English.

■ Duties
- Research on early universe cosmology, inflation and primordial perturbation, within Dr Gongjun Choi's group.

■ Who can apply
- A PhD received within the last five years, or expected within three months of the appointment date. A Korean military-service clause appears, and the notice states that alternative-service research positions are not eligible under this announcement; neither applies to foreign applicants. The notice adds preference points for registered disability, national-merit status, and women in science and technology.

■ Terms
- The appointment starts on 1 February 2027. Salary follows IBS rules.
