Teaching Assistant, Biomedical Research Center (About ₩27.4M a Year, English-Speaking Campus) — Ghent University Global Campus (Incheon)

Ghent University Global Campus in Songdo is hiring a teaching assistant for its Biomedical Research Center. Teaching on this campus is in English, and the notice says the doctoral researchers there come from more than 20 countries.

■ Duties
- Supporting the practical laboratory courses run by the Biomedical Research Center, whose work covers human brain disorders, mental disorders and neurodegeneration.
- Developing course material and guided exercises.
- Managing laboratory inventory and protocols.

■ Who can apply
- An MSc in biology, biotechnology or a related field, awarded in September 2024 or earlier, with practical laboratory skills. English at B2 level must be proved with a language certificate. The notice asks for someone comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

■ Terms
- A one-year fixed-term contract at full time, renewable. The starting salary is 27,375,000 won a year, which is 2,281,250 won a month gross, with a bonus in June worth 92 per cent of a month's pay and one in December worth a full month. Private health insurance is provided, along with extra holidays from 25 December to 1 January. The start date is 1 October 2026 and is negotiable.
