How points work on Waegook — and how to earn them

You may have noticed you can earn points on Waegook. Here is what they are and how to get them.

What are points?
Points are rewards you earn just for being active on Waegook. They are free, and they are yours to keep. Right now you can use them to enter Lucky Draws and win real prizes, and we will add more ways to use them over time.

How to earn points
You earn points for things like:

• Signing in each day
• Posting on the marketplace or in the community
• Commenting and joining conversations
• Getting comments on your community posts
• Inviting friends to Waegook (this is one of the biggest rewards)
• Confirming a purchase when you buy from someone
• Creating an event

A quick note on fairness
Some points take a short while to become available after you earn them, and points from cancelled or fake activity can be removed. This just keeps things fair for everyone.
